What is Kindred Spirit Series Virtual Challenge about?

 This is a virtual challenge where local and oversea participants across age groups engage one another in specially-curated fitness challenges in the spirit of friendly competition.

Who can participate in the Kindred Spirit Series Virtual Challenge 2020?

Participation is allowed from anyone across the globe. 

How much does it cost to take part in this challenge?

This virtual challenge is free for everyone!

What are the entitlement?

All participants will receive an e-certificate. All finalists will receive attractive prizes.

Finalists:

Top 5 (male & female) of the Youth, POL-ITE, Uniformed, Open and Senior Category and Top 6 of the Kids Category will proceed to the Final. The finalists will compete in a new set of challenges. The Final will be live on ZOOM, Facebook and YouTube. Attractive prizes await for all finalists!

Will the Finalists be notified?

The judges will judge your video and your standing will be reflected on a ‘Kindred Spirit Series Virtual Challenge 2020’ leaderboard, as determined by our panel of judges. Each category page has its own Leaderboard. The Leaderboard will be updated with names of the competitors as they register, and updated with the scores after the judging on 25 July. Announcement of finalists will be made on 27 July.

Where do I register?

When is the last date to register?

Registration is open from 5 July – 24 July 2020 (12pm SGT) and the virtual challenge video submission is from 5 July – 24 July 2020 (12pn SGT).

Can I enter in more than one category?

You may enter in a maximum of two (2) categories provided you meet the age criteria. It is not recommended for a Senior who is 60 yo for instance, to take part in the other categories for lower ages (eg. Open – 18 to 54).

What happens after I have registered
  1. Head over to Club Zoom event page and follow the instructions provided in the category that you have registered.
  2. Video yourself completing the challenge.
  3. Upload your completed challenge on social media platform (see below)
  4. Submit your direct video link via the google submission form (the link is provided in each category)
  5. The judges will judge your video and your standing will be reflected on a ‘Kindred Spirit Series Virtual Challenge 2020’ leaderboard, as determined by our panel of judges.

We accept the following social media platforms for video challenge: 

  • TikTok: Kids and  Youth Category
  • Instagram: Inter POL-ITE , Uniformed and Open Category
  • Facebook: Senior Category
How do I know if I have successfully registered?

All registered participants will receive a confirmation email upon successful registration to the email address used at the time of registration.

I have registered but did not receive my confirmation email.

Please allow up to 12 hours to receive your confirmation email. There are several reasons you may have not received your confirmation slip after this time period:

  1. It could be in your spam/junk folder.
  2. Registration was unsuccessful.
  3. The email address entered at the time of registration is incorrect.

Please email to enquiries.clubzoom@gmail.com providing the email address used at time of registration process for the team to check your registration status.

Are International Participants allowed to register?

Yes, you can!

Participants who reside outside of Singapore are not be eligible to enter the POL-ITE and Uniformed Categories.

What happens after I register for the event?

Once you have signed up for the Kindred Spirit Series Virtual Challenge 2020, visit your category page for the description of the challenge.

Can I change my category after signing up?

Please email to enquiries.clubzoom@gmail.com should you wish to change your category after registration.

How do I share when I have completed the challenge?

Follow these steps:

If the video cannot be viewed by the judge (if access is not granted) we will not be able to judge your video and it will not be considered for eligibility in finals.

Are multiple upload of the video challenge allowed?

You can submit an updated link in the future on the video link submission form in the respective category website.
